Cara Kelley holds an M.Ed. and BA in Sociology, and is a Certified Demential Practitioner (CDP).
Cara grew up in Milton, MA and from a young age was an advocate and ally for older adults. It began with an intergenerational household that created a unique and close bond with her grandmother, Elsie. Today, Cara lives in the same town she grew up in with her three children; Elsie, Kathleen and Jerry.
In her high school and college years, Cara volunteered at Milton Hospital (now Beth Israel Deaconess - Milton) and was a team leader for local Meals on Wheels.
These experiences grew Cara’s interest in helping older adults embrace the next chapter in their lives with dignity, grace and independence.
While Cara was enrolled in the Sociology Program at Bridgewater State College, Cara began her career as an Activity Director in assisted living. She quickly made the decision to pursue a career in the field. Cara stayed with the same organization for many years and became the Director of Memory Care, a role she held for 17 years.
Cara brings over 25 years of experience in elder care and a trusted network of professionals to work alongside of to always bring the very best of care and resources to her clients. She embraces A holistic approach to assisting clients and their loved ones as they continue on each individual journey, as an advocate and partner.
